A science Fiction novel, written by Jules Verne in 1828, before the invention of submarines.

There is a giant sea monster at sea and it attacks ships. The story tells of 3 men who join an expedition in search of this monster. They are taken prisoner on board the world's first submarine, the Nautilus.  The Nautilus travels the seas, taking the men on wonderful adventures. But Captain Nemo will not let them leave the ship. Will they ever escape?
