September Survivor is the autobiography of Colonel (Res.) Moshe Givati, an Israely infantry officer, who was born in September 1948, during the war of Independence, was injured in a clash with terrorists on the Golan Heights, in September 1969, and again sufferd severe injuries in a helicopter crash during a training exercise in September 1984. 

The lilfe of Moshe Givati in the Israeli Defence Forces is the saga of a whole genenration of Istaelies.
