Jochen Rieder (born August 12, 1970 in Herxheim near Landau / Pfalz ) is a German conductor .
In 1997 he received a scholarship from the Richard Wagner Association, and in 2001 and 2002 he worked as Christian Thielemann's assistant on “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” in the ensemble of the Bayreuth Festival .
