The Chinese have a strong sense of humour and many jokes have been passed down the generations to be told and retold, entertaining young and old. This edition is unique in that the wit and humour reflect the mood prevalent in modem China, and the jokes are recreated by China's favourite cartoonist Ding Cong, affectionately called Little Ding.
